Let me give you an example with a trade I recently closed:  On May 18th I opened a bull put credit spread on BIDU that was suppose to net me 33% in three days.  It would have been a great trade if BIDU had finished the week above $72.00 per share. 

BIDU dropped in price and I was faced with losing 22%.  Instead of taking that loss, I made a "trade adjustment."  This "trade adjustment" caused me to be in the trade three weeks instead of three days, but it also allowed me to close the trade for 5% profit instead of a 22% loss.  That means I was 27% better off because of my ability to adjust my trade. 

I didn't always trade like this.  Like most investors I use to panic when the price of a stock went against me.  You know that impending feeling of doom as you look at your portfolio and see your account losing hundreds or even thousands of dollars every day in just one trade that is going bad?  This use to happen to me all too often.

Sometimes I would hate to even open my online brokerage account because I really didn't want to see how much I might have lost that day.  I would rather bury my head in the sand instead of watching the losses mount and not know what to do about it.

All of this changed for me about 7 years ago when the concept of "trade adjustments" was introduced to me.  I learned the basics and then spent the next 5 years putting my personal touch on the strategies and creating the ideal way to teach it to people who struggled every day with the same things I did.  Since that time I have profited every year in the market far above the averages and even when the markets have been down.  And I have done it with no fear of market changes.
